Oral Surgeon Dennis L. Gorospe, DDS

STATEMENT:
Dr. Gorospe practices the full scope of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery in his state of the art facility in Cerritos , California. He continues his practice and service to the local community since 1996. He broadens his scientific knowledge and surgical skills by participating in local, national and international continuing education courses. Dr. Gorospe practices the full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery with expertise ranging from corrective jaw surgery, dental implant placement, wisdom tooth removal to facial reconstruction and treatment of TMJ disorders and full range of bone grafting procedures. His staff trained in assisting in IV sedation in our state of the art facility. Modern radiographic equipment including Cone Beam Scanners enhance the planning and performance of surgical procedures. Above all, Dr. Gorospe and his staff are available to ease a patient’s surgical experience in a relaxing manner.

EDUCATION
Dr. Gorospe is a graduate of the University of California, Los Angeles where he completed a Bachelors of Science in Biology. He complete his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree at the University of California, Los Angeles School of Dentistry. His formal training in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery was completed at the King/Drew Medical Center in Los Angeles. Dr. Gorospe served as the Chief Resident during his oral surgery training. Training in the full scope of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery includes management of trauma, anesthesia, facial reconstruction, dentoalveolar surgery, minor and major bone grafts, dental implants, management of jaw tumors and cysts.

FAMILY & ACTIVITIES
Dr. Gorospe is happily married with his wife Frances and sons, Gerardo and Gabriel and faithful dog Oda. He enjoys family vacations doing outdoor activities. He has a passion for riding his road bicycle for exercise. On occasion, he may be found at the golf course. Dr. Gorospe is active in the community by serving as a volunteer and former Scoutmaster of Boy Scout Troop 693 in Cerritos, CA.
